FastTravel doesn't run a backend, doesn't use analytics, and doesn't sell or share anything. This page lists everything the extension stores and every server it talks to.
On your device
- Your chosen client, the custom client you added, and whether rewriting and client colors are on.
- When you sign in, your handle, your DID, and the OAuth session for your account. The session lets FastTravel update your preference record and nothing else.
- For a few seconds after a redirect, which client a link came from, so the toast can name it.
In your Atmosphere repo
When you're signed in, FastTravel writes one record, gg.lou.fasttravel.preference with the keyself, to your repo. It holds your chosen client, your custom client, and your color setting. Records in an atproto repo are public, so anyone can read this one. Signing out stops further writes. Delete the record from your repo with any atproto tool if you want it gone.
Servers FastTravel talks to
- Your PDS and its authorization server, to sign you in and to read and write your record.
- plc.directory, mozilla.cloudflare-dns.com, and public.api.bsky.app, to look up your handle and DID during sign-in and sync.
- fasttravel.lou.gg, which serves the sign-in metadata and this site. It doesn't log or track visits.
Pages you visit
FastTravel looks at the address of each page as it opens to spot Bluesky links. Addresses stay in the browser: FastTravel doesn't read page contents, keep a history, or send addresses anywhere.
